Carolyn has always had a passion for minerals and stones, and the sparkly colors and energies that they hold. She loves spending time outdoors and going on adventures with her family. She will often pocket a treasure or two to bring home and add to her collection.
Carolyn has an extensive background in the arts, utilizing numerous modalities, including welding and sculpture. A few years ago she decided to focus her creative energies on creating beautiful, meaningful adornment.
Her pieces are fabricated by hand, primarliy from silver, and occasionally from bronze, brass and copper and often center around various gemstones or raw crytals. Her pieces tend to be grounded with natural influences and sculptural elements.
In the Studio
Design, sculpt, form and create. Whether its sketching out some ideas, wrapping a beautiful totem piece or sculpting a new design using PMC, it all occurs in Pastelluna Designs Home Based Studio.
